Below you will find practical suggestions to put together delicious desserts with our products.

READY TO SERVE DESSERTS

· Cheesecake with raspberry sauce Delicious ricotta cheesecake made with a fine white crust, topped with natural raspberry sauce.

· Chocolate Mousse with pastry cream Rich chocolate mousse with toasted walnut praline, decorated with fine slices of chocolate filled “Queen's Arm” cake roll. This dessert includes a portion of ready to serve pastry cream.

· Lucuma Mousse with pastry cream (a variety of eggfruit) Delicious mousse with fragrant lucuma purée and toasted almond praline, decorated with fine slices of lucuma filled “Queen's Arm” cake roll. This dessert includes a portion of ready to serve pastry cream.

· Orange Mousse with pastry cream Delicious mousse prepared with orange pulp, decorated on the sides with fine slices of orange “Queen's Arm” cake roll. This dessert includes a portion of ready to serve pastry cream.

· Custard tart Fruit tart (apples or plums) with pastry cream, topped with custard.

· Raspberry or peach tartlets

·Homemade Ice cream Delicious homemade ice cream, ideal to serve alone or accompanied with fruit or kuchen (see "hot desserts for combining")

HOT DESSERTS FOR COMBINING

Hot Apple Kuchen with vanilla ice cream Heat Kuchen, preferably in conventional oven so the crust will remain crispy, during 7 minutes if it is a 6 - 8 portion Kuchen or 14 minute is it is a 10 – 12 portion Kuchen. (In microwave oven heat the first for 3 minutes, and the latter for 8 minutes). Set aside. Spread three tablespoons full of raspberry sauce over the plate, cut a portion of Kuchen, and put it on top of the sauce. Add a side portion of delicious "El Ingenio" vanilla ice cream Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve.

Important: The Kuchen must be served hot.

We recommend only heating the portions you are going to serve to avoid the rest of the Kuchen from drying out.

·Hot Alpine Tart (with delicious caramelized walnut filling) with vanilla ice cream. This is a variation of the previous recipe, so the same steps should be followed.

·Hot Swiss Tart (with delicious almond, walnut and honey filling) with vanilla ice cream . This is a variation of the previous recipe, so the same steps should be followed.

· Hot Apple Strudel with vanilla ice cream This is a variation of the previous recipe, so the same steps should be followed.

·Hot Pear and Almond Tart with vanilla ice cream This is a variation of the previous recipe, so the same steps should be followed.

· Hot Chocolate cake roll with mint chocolate chip ice cream. Heat the chocolate cake roll preferably in a conventional oven for 10 minutes or in microwave oven for 5 minutes, set aside. Spread three tablespoons of pastry cream over the plate, * cut a portion of the cake roll and place it over the cream. Add a side portion of delicious "El Ingenio" mint chocolate chip ice cream. Serve immediately.

Important: The chocolate cake roll must reach the table hot.

·Swiss Chocolate Ice Cream "El Ingenio" served with hot manjar** sauce Heat equal portions of manjar and milk over low flame, stirring slowly until the mixture becomes homogeneous. Put a portion of “El Ingenio” Swiss chocolate Ice cream in a dish and pour hot manjar sauce over it. Serve immediately. Optional : Sprinkle chopped almonds over the dessert as a decoration.

*The raspberry sauce and pastry cream can be found at our stores in the quantity required for each dish ** manjar = caramelized milk

COLD DESSERTS FOR COMBINING

· Vanilla Ice Cream "El Ingenio" served with chestnut or lucuma purée. Serve a portion of "El Ingenio" vanilla ice cream in a dish; add a spoonful of chestnut or lucuma puree on the side. Optional: pour some touches of cream over the dessert.

· Candied Alcayota (also known as Malabar gourd or fig leaf squash) with walnuts You can find this dessert already mixed in our stores or prepare it yourself. In this case serve a portion of Alcayota jam and sprinkle it with chopped walnuts.

·Apple Strudel with cream

· "El Ingenio" Kuchen and Tarts with "El Ingenio" Vanilla Ice Cream All of our kuchens and tarts can be served with vanilla ice cream for a great dessert.

· Queen's Arm (Sponge cake rolled around manjar filling) served with "El Ingenio" Swiss chocolate ice cream
